3. Lisbon – Portugal

When it comes to European capital cities, you can expect to pay a lot. However, that is far from the case if you are looking to visit Lisbon. It is best known for its colonialist history, ornate architecture, and tradition of Fado music. This hilly, coastal capital city with pleasant year-round weather also offers spectacular hilltop vistas in Alfama or at St. George’s Castle.

You won’t get bored in a place like this, because the city has local markets like Feira da Ladra and a vibrant nightlife that caters to all tastes. When it comes to the food, you have your pick of small local restaurants and cafes or Michelin star restaurants. But the average cost of eating should be around $35 per day. Although you can easily walk the city, the trams are only $5. As for accommodation, a 3-star hotel will set you back at around $80 per night.

  1. i HAVE BEEN TO ALL BUT ONE OF THESE PLACES ( Phu ket), it would be great to visit there. I’ve traveled extensively through Russia and Georgia and found the citizens warm and friendly nothing like i’m seeing in the Ukraine invasion. I entertained 6 Russians from our catering company in our Moscow kitchen and find, “they are just like us” it’s their shitty governmont thats the problem.
