Taos, New Mexico
Probably one of the most underrated hill stations in America is Taos. It’s a special place in New Mexico that you could never get tired of. As the city is surrounded by the well-known Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the place is very resourceful in terms of outdoor activities, like snowboarding, skiing, hiking, rafting, but also trekking.
Besides this, you could take a hot air balloon ride, or trek with the llamas. If you’re looking for something a bit more relaxing, you could take a bath in the hot springs. If you want something a bit more educational, you could take a trip to the downtown area and visit the art galleries and museums in the area.
