Blue Heaven (Key West, FL)
While it may look like it is straight out of the hippie period and that the tropical foliage does not really have its place in the Sunshine State, Blue Heaven is one of the most popular places in Key West and a restaurant you should definitely not miss if you are around the area.
They are known for their very colorful style and establishment, but they also have a few unique features you will not find anywhere else! While a lot of us are used to the idea of cats being around in al fresco dining spaces like the one here, we are not accustomed to the roosters that this place has as well. The free-roaming roosters and cats are famous on their own, and the restaurant also has another unique feature: a rooster graveyard. They do have to be remembered too, no?
Jokes aside, the place has splendid reviews when it comes to food, and they take great pride in their dishes. Their menu barely has chances, even when it comes to some specials, and they boast about having the best Key Lime Pie in the area! It seems like a claim that needs to be individually explored if you’re up for a challenge!
