3. Atlanta, Georgia
Since we like Georgia so much, we didn’t hesitate to put it twice on the list! This time, we’re going to take a virtual journey to Atlanta. Atlanta is a pleasant, energetic location widely known for its exceptional low-cost recreational opportunities that every tourist looks forward to taking part in. The city’s wonderful urban parks are another opportunity to discover Atlanta on a limited budget.
Piedmont Park and Stone Mountain Park are two of my favorites. Why did I pick these two places to go? Mostly because you can combine two popular activities here: hiking and cultural events. Sounds awesome, right?
Don’t forget to snap plenty of photographs of the surroundings while you’re on your city break so you can look back on them afterward. Especially the street art murals located on the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside. Atlanta offers a wide variety of possibilities for inexpensive lodging. Hotels can cost between $50 and $150 per night.
