8. Marrakesh – Morocco
Known as the “red city” because of its buildings and ramparts of beaten clay, Marrakesh is world-renowned for its colorful, unique, and labyrinthine markets known as souks, with Souk Semmarine being the biggest of them all. They are filled with outstanding craftworks, such as rugs, leather goods, silverware, and crockery of all shapes and sizes. You can spend days walking around them and still not see all the market has to offer.
The average cost of food in Marrakech is around $10 per day, but you can eat even cheaper at the many street food vendors across the city. The accommodation can be as affordable as you want, with hostels that come with a complimentary breakfast for as little as $10 per night. A traditional 3-star hotel will run you around $62 per night. However, if you are willing to double that, you can rent a courtyard mansion known as a riad.

i HAVE BEEN TO ALL BUT ONE OF THESE PLACES ( Phu ket), it would be great to visit there. I’ve traveled extensively through Russia and Georgia and found the citizens warm and friendly nothing like i’m seeing in the Ukraine invasion. I entertained 6 Russians from our catering company in our Moscow kitchen and find, “they are just like us” it’s their shitty governmont thats the problem.
