5. Turnip Rock
Turnip Rock is situated in Michigan. To be more exact, it’s just off the shore of Lake Huron. This island or rock, whatever you like to call it, is the result of thousands of years of erosions caused by storm waves.
We’re not going to lie, its uniqueness is beautiful even though it’s a result of natural destruction. You can only reach this point by boat or kayaking, but the view is totally worth the effort. While you’re at it make sure you catch the sun going down for an absolutely astonishing view.
We highly recommend going there kayaking and enjoying the landscape and the quiet which surrounds the area, it’ll do wonders for your mental health and relaxation.

Thank you for the beautiful photos, they’re exquisite. You should also include Rocky Mountain Park, Estes, Colorado. I’ve only been once, makes you feel like you’ve entered another world, it was beautiful and if you go to the top of the trail, you’ll see snow capped mountains in the middle of summer.
Beautiful pictures — some of these places I have visited. Seeing the wonderful pictures was almost worth the aggravation of all the commercials!
Well, Yellowstone National Park is my ALL TIME favorite destination in the USA.–even before I saw this article. However, I do think TETON NATIONAL PARK and the “Going to the Sun” highway is pretty spectacular.
