One of the most beautiful skiing destinations in America is Breckenridge. This particular destination becomes super popular during winter, and it entertains thousands of tourists every year. Breckenridge is no more than 80 miles away from Denver, so you shouldn’t worry about access.
It has 187 slopes for skiing built on the snow-covered mountains in the region. But skiing isn’t the ONLY attraction in the region, as many people come for the gondola ride, with its breathtaking views.
You can take the gondola from anywhere near the apres-ski environment, and it will take you all the way up to the mountaintop! If you ever get tired of these mountains (although we seriously doubt it), you could always stroll around the city and explore the bars, restaurants, and souvenir shops.
