Namibia is one of the amazing African countries you should definitely visit. It is not as warm as Costa Rica (temperatures on the coast of Namibia and in the Namib Desert only go as high as 68 in the winter and a low of 59), but it is warm enough to make for some amazing safaris. They have had an amazing tourist boom recently, and it is more accessible than it has ever been.
There are a lot of connecting flights to get you here, and with some of the best African roads, you can easily get around even if you decide to explore on your own. There are definitely a lot of places you can visit and explore, so make sure to keep them on your radar. What makes Namibia a great contender for a winter vacation is the fact that in late spring and the summer months, we may not be able to withstand the heat!
