10. Cappadocia, Turkey
Lying in Central Anatolia in Turkey, the captivating Cappadocia is best known for its unique moon-like landscape, underground cities, cave churches, and houses carved in the rocks. Every morning as the rising sun lights up the Red Valley, multi-colored hot air balloons rise with the dawn, making for a stunning sight to behold. Despite being ancient, the area is still a popular modern tourist destination.
There are lots of open-air museums like Göreme and Zelve, and plenty of walks and trails through the area’s many scenic valleys. Cappadocia is one of the biggest wine-producing regions in Turkey, and many wineries throughout the region’s towns offer winetasting options, with the Turasan Wine Factory being the highlight. Dining and transportation can run you $35 per day, and 3-star hotels will cost about $80 per night.

i HAVE BEEN TO ALL BUT ONE OF THESE PLACES ( Phu ket), it would be great to visit there. I’ve traveled extensively through Russia and Georgia and found the citizens warm and friendly nothing like i’m seeing in the Ukraine invasion. I entertained 6 Russians from our catering company in our Moscow kitchen and find, “they are just like us” it’s their shitty governmont thats the problem.
