4. Desert Fairytale Treehouse in Nogal, New Mexico
Usual Price: $115/Night
Sleeps: 2 Guests/Studio
This unique fairytale treehouse can be found on 30-acres of high desert land. There are even natural spring waters close by.
Though this is a relatively remote and unplugged stay, you will be just a short drive away from the town of Capitan if you need to pick up supplies or do some shopping. Also nearby is the incredible Lincoln national forest.
Roosted at the top of a spiral staircase, the dark exteriors of the treehouse are punctuated by a front porch that includes sitting chairs for your relaxing morning cup of coffee or some stargazing at night. And there’s even a swinging porch chair just below the house.
Inside, a cozy setup awaits you with a Full-size bed, a small table attached to the wall, a tree limb growing through it, and a kitchen with marble countertops and a turquoise mini-fridge.
The en-suite bathroom has a Southwestern feel with a cacti-tiled sink and a blue-tiled walk-in shower.
